iHerb and All Star Health are both big online supplement companies that I’ve had the pleasure of shopping from over the years.
I found iHerb about 10+ years or so ago, and have been ordering from there at least a few times yearly ever since.
Supplements are really my thing, as you may know (see my recommended supplements).
All Star Health I’ve known about for only a year or two, but what surprised me was that they stack up really well!

I was of the opinion that iHerb is best and cheapest, period.
Because, they are really cheap.
But it turned out, browsing both of their websites, ASH (All Star Health), is actually cheaper on nearly every product (they both have huge amounts of different products).
All Star Health Is Cheaper Than iHerb, What Else?
ASH also has free shipping on orders over $99.
That made me wonder whether to make a switch or not.
Cheaper (which is the reason many shop from them or iHerb in the first place), yet same in most other ways.
The only drawbacks I have seen is for international orders (I live in Sweden), where international shipping costs a lot more from ASH than from iHerb, evening out the price a bit on their price tags.
They also don’t stop packages from shipping that won’t get through customs anyways, something iHerb is good at so that your package won’t get sent back or confiscated (look this up yourself beforehand if you’re worried about certain products).
The first time I ordered from ASH they also checked that it was my credit card and not a stolen one, which is a good safety measure, although that delayed the order slightly.
Other than this though, and for those of you living in in the US, All Star Health is actually likely to be your better choice.
It’s just simply cheaper.
All Star Health Affiliate Program
Then there’s something to be said about the two websites’ affiliate programs, since that’s actually how I first found out about ASH.
And why?
Because they’ve got such generous commissions despite their low prices.
10-14%, compared to iHerb’s 5% plus their rewards program.
I’m since an affiliate there myself and for this website, for the best of both worlds – as cheap as possible for my readers, yet still lucrative enough to help support my website financially.
At no extra cost to you however, customer costs stay the same.
So with that said, let’s conclude.
Conclusion – All Star Health VS iHerb
Alright, so which is better? I’d say both are very good, while if you’re in the US All Star Health is your winner due to, plain and simple, their lower costs!
Internationally I’m a bit torn because the cost can turn out to about the same, plus the customs thing, but for the cheaper costs you may just want to compare shopping carts to see what the total adds up to with both of them.
Then again you can’t get around that iHerb has a lot more reviews on their products, which is helpful when choosing the right one.
If needed, you can check the reviews on iHerb, plus test if your shopping cart products will clear customs by having it in the cart, while also comparing prices that way.
So, all in all, All Star Health comes out the winner, but if there’s a particular product they don’t have or not in stock, iHerb is a decent number 2!
