As you may know from both my list of recommended supplements everyone should be taking and my post on the best multi mineral and trace mineral supplements in general (a good fulvic acid supplement is on both those lists), trace minerals are really important, and taking some fulvic acid is a great and natural way to get more of those.
I won’t go much into why we need these trace minerals here since I’ve done so in both of those posts already, but I will briefly go into some of the benefits of fulvic acid in particular.

“A fulvic acid supplement is one of the best ways to get more vital trace minerals into your diet.”

Fulvic Acid Supplement Uses And Benefits
Getting more trace minerals is important today since our diets, even healthy ones, aren’t providing nearly as much of them as they used to, for various reasons such as eating too processed and increasingly mineral depleted foods and soils, and they’re needed for a lot of different processes in the body, for us to function properly, and for us to feel at our best.
Potential uses and benefits of taking trace minerals and a fulvic acid supplement include:

- Improving general health
- Boosting immunity
- Reducing inflammation
- Promote and protect brain function
- Lowering cholesterol
- Improving muscle strength
- Improving cellular function
- Relieving altitude sickness
- Protecting against cancer
- Improving gut health
- Boosting testosterone and improving hormone levels
- Improving mental health, mood, and reducing anxiety, stress and depression
- Eczema
- Ulcers
- Healthy skin, hair, nails and bones
- Staying hydrated
- Blood pressure and cardiovascular health
- Better sleep and relaxation
- Improved digestion, metabolism and energy levels
- Insulin and blood glucose levels
- Improves cellular function
- Aids in detox and heavy metal detox
(Source, source and source for many of these)
And more, so your reasons to take them (fulvic acid and trace minerals) are plenty.
“The uses and benefits of taking fulvic acid are plenty.”
And so, what’s the best supplement/s for this?
Best Fulvic Acid Supplements
Fulvic acid supplements come in both liquid and encapsulated forms, and since your preference for this may vary, I’ll divide them and list the top supplement of both kinds.
Best liquid and best overall fulvic acid supplement
I’d say that the best fulvic acid supplement I’ve found (and use regularly myself as well), is:
Now Colloidal (Fulvic) Trace Minerals

I’ve tried several similar fulvic acid trace mineral supplements, and this one is really good.
It has has a few additives, but at the same time is much cheaper (half price) than most other equal or very similar fulvic acid supplements, making it a clear winner in my book.
Just take up to 2 tablespoons of it daily and you’re good to go.
You can get it here: Now Colloidal/Fulvic Trace Minerals – All Star Health.
Recommended dosage: 2 tablespoons per day of fulvic/colloidal minerals, as per the instructions.
Cost: $13,7 for 32 oz and servings, about $13 per month or 42 cents per day.
You may also find that you may not need the full dose from some experimenting or intuitive testing, or want to save money, and then 0,5 to 1,5 tablespoons of it can be alright too, especially if combined with the other recommended mineral supplements.
“This one’s definitely my favorite.”
And next we have:
Best Fulvic Acid Supplement Capsules

As for the best capsule form fulvic acid supplement, I’d recommend basically getting it through a good shilajit supplement (a natural resinous substance very rich in fulvic acid and also a proven testosterone booster [*]).
I don’t like this as much as the liquid fulvic acid minerals above though, since I’ve had some side effects from shilajit personally in the past, but many people don’t and as such it’s still one of the best ways to supplement with more fulvic acid.
And among the best shilajit supplements, imo, is this one from Paradise Herbs:
Paradise Herbs Shilajit Extract
It’s among the best because it’s both very high quality and very affordable, making it a great option not just for taking regularly, but for just trying shilajit and fulvic acid out for the first time as well.
The initial investment for this one is fairly low compared to most shilajit supplements, making it a good option for first time users and when just wanting to try this stuff out.

You can get it for a very low price here from Allstarhealth.com.
Recommended dosage: 1-2 capsules of 250 mg shilajit per day (says 1 on the bottle).
Cost: $8,9 for 60 caps = about $4,5 per month or 15 cents per day at 1 capsule daily.
“Some shilajit, can make things right.”

There is however another shilajit supplement which is of equal quality but would be cheaper in the long run, and thus a better option if you already know shilajit works well for you or if you want to be taking it in a higher dosage (it comes in a larger bottle/higher quantity of capsules), and that’s:
Trace Minerals Shilajit
This one comes in double the dose per capsule and with a 4 times higher recommended daily shilajit intake on the bottle (you should probably experience a little bit yourself with this to find your personal optimal dosage).

This shilajit also comes with extra added trace minerals.
So again, take this one if you want high quality fulvic acid in capsule form or shilajit specifically, to make it cheaper in the long run.
You can get this one online, here:
Recommended dosage: 1-2 capsules per day for 500-1000 mg shilajit (100-200 mg fulvic acid).
Estimated cost: $23 for 150 capsules, $4,6 per month or 15 cents per day at 1 capusle per day (half the recommended dose on the package). It seems to be on sale right now at the time of writing this though, so it I might have to edit this in the future.
This one, with about the same cost per capsule, is actually twice as cheap as the first one, although requires a larger initial investment of 23 as opposed to just 9 bucks, so, you decide which is the most worth trying out if you go with the capsule form of fulvic acid and not the liquid.
“This one’s cheaper in the long run as far as shilajit and encapsulated fulvic acid goes”.
And, those are all the best fulvic acid supplements for you, but you might be wondering..
When To Take Your Fulvic Acid Supplement (Time Of Day)

I recommend you take your fulvic acid supplement with your first meal of the day, as I do with most supplements, to optimize absorbtion and to not disturb your digestive system when you don’t need to, but you can take it without food as well, it will still work well.
“Take it with your first meal of the day.”
And now, to recap:
Recap

Basically:
- Take a fulvic acid supplement because we need more trace minerals and because it/they come with a lot of health benefits.
- The best fulvic acid supplement by far, imo, is Now Colloidal (Fulvic) Trace Minerals, although a quality shilajit supplement can be a good way to get it as well and in capsule form.
- Ideally, take it with food and in the morning (or with your first meal of the day, if you’re intermittently fasting or skipping breakfast).
And with that, enjoy your fulvic acid/trace minerals and have a good and mineral-rich one – until next time!
