Oil Pulling For Detox And Healthier Gums And Teeth

Oil pulling is something I found about 10 years or so ago and that has actually helped me a fair bit over the years.

I had a breathing problem from a tonsillectomy that affected (and still does) my breathing and oil pulling sort of came to the rescue by improving my breathing and sleep.

My guess is through less inflammation or less swelling in the throat.

It was no magic pill, but again, helpful.

What Is Oil Pulling And Why Would You Wanna Do It?

Oil pulling is when you take an oil by mouth and swish it around for up to 20 minutes, and then spit it out.

That then can help kill bad bacteria in the mouth, improve breath, whiten teeth and with general detoxification of the mouth and blood.

What Oils To Use

There are lots of different oils you can use, such as sesame, sunflower, olive etc, but coconut’s my personal favorite.

Much less toxic omega-6 in it.

When And How To Oil Pull

Although you can oil pull any time of day, first thing in the morning seems like the best option.

You can also do it twice daily, the second one being a few hours after food.

Take anywhere from a teaspoon to a tablespoon and spit it out in the garbage where it cannot contribute to clogging.

Try this coconut oil.
