A number of years ago I came across a youtube video when searching for health-related stuff (can’t find it now, but still).
He mentioned in that video (someone) that there are antigens in your urine after you eat food, and that you can use those antigens to treat your allergies.
I mention this just so no one thinks that I came up with this idea entirely by myself, or at all.
Either way I double-checked and yes, our urine does carry those antigens to the potential allergens in the foods we just ate.
And what does this mean?

Meet Urine Antigen Therapy
The name, urine antigen therapy, is what I’ve decided to call it since there’s no real name for it and thus a very fringe health modality.
Basically you take a tiny amount (less than a drop) of your urine under your tongue or just in your mouth, and this will let those antigens do their thing together with your immune system.
Now as you may know, I’m a big fan of intuitive testing, which means I’ve also tested this using my instincts to see whether it’s conducive to my health to do it, or not.
And I’ve got the green light here, in that yes, our body does want this.
I’ve Gotten Rid Of My Food Allergies And Insensitivities

You may not be sold on your own urine yet, but hold on.
Because if you’ve got food allergies it may be a small price to pay once you get over the stigma.
And it takes so little that it’ll barely bother you at all.
Either way, I used to be allergic and sensitive to loads and loads of stuff, some of them from when I was like 5 years old.
I consisted on a diet of ground beef, white rice and broccoli, and that was just a few years ago.
I can now eat everything.
Do I think it (urine antigen therapy) is the only part to my recovery from food insensitivities and allergies?
No.
But I think it plays a big one, together with nutrient deficiency corrections and a detox from omega-6 fatty acids in my body.
And it may make even more sense if you look at how allergies have risen in popularity in people ever since the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
The Rise Of Toilet Paper

Now, when you know this about allergies and antigens, how do you think we wiped for most throughout history?
Well, not with toilet paper (also something new since the late 1800’s.
We used leafs, our hands, you name it.
And without running tap water to wash it off.
So let me tell you, from experience, that the most natural way to wipe your urine off without toilet paper is to take it on your finger, put it in your mouth, and then spit it out.
A fraction of it will always remain in your mouth, along with those antigens.
Because you don’t want it on your legs, or in your underpants, and so that becomes the natural way.
So, what happened then when toilet paper became common back then?
Well, so did allergies!
And are still, today.

But let me reiterate again that it’s likely a combination of this and the nutrient status and omega-6 in your body.
I’m sure you’ve heard about allergies having to do with keeping too clean nowadays, in our homes and no longer playing as much in the dirt, and this is a piece of that puzzle, where bathroom hygiene likely contributes a lot to allergies.
So How Do You Start Doing Urine Antigen Therapy
Well, as easy as it sounds, is how easy it is.
If you’ve never tasted a small fraction or drop of your own urine, fret not, because it’s really nothing.
There are those that drink litres of their own urine as well, called urine therapy.
Doctors used to taste urine to diagnose certain illnesses back in the day.
It shouldn’t be difficult for long, but do watch out for getting a little urine on your breath, and keep some gum handy if needed.
Recap

To summarize:
- There are antigens in our urine from the foods we eat that can be absorbed sublingually.
- We intuitively want to do this (urine antigen therapy).
- We evolved wiping not with toilet paper (had more of that stuff on our hands, regularly).
- Toilet paper can be seen as becoming more hygienic at the cost of our health.
- Allergies and more toilet paper happened in tandem.
So, try it out, recommend it to people you know with allergies, and let’s hope that it helps :).
