Men on vegan diets are considered less masculine by many, compared with their meat-eating counterparts.
But is there really truth to this?
I’m willing to say that in my personal subjective experience, there is, as strange as that may sound.

Personal Anecdotes On Vegan Men, Masculinity And Attractiveness
On top of what the studies have said about vegan men and masculinity, I personally have some experience with this, having tried the vegan diet for a short while myself as well as having observed some famous figured that went vegan.
Let’s start with me though.
Me On Vegan

I tried the vegan diet for health reasons many years back when I was traveling, using Tinder as a means to meet and date people abroad.
And it was much harder when vegan, I just wasn’t as attractive to my dates, although they didn’t necessarily know I was doing a vegan diet.
Fo me, just a day or a few made the difference, which is surprising to me.
If anything it tells me something about the importance of animal-based protein, since that’s really the only big difference I can think of when going vegan.
I both felt less masculine, and acted as such.
And thus, dating was much harder.
Jon Stewart And Craig Ferguson, Talk Show Host Anecdotes

Jon Stewart And Craig Ferguson Are 2 other good examples of this “phenomenon”.
They both sort of quit their talk show host gigs not too long after going vegan, although I’m pretty certain they don’t know that veganism probably played a large role in that.
You can see a big difference in, for example, clips from Craig Ferguson’s talk show host for most of his TV host career and his last year, where he was no longer as attractive (after going vegan).
He said he was bored or no longer into it, but this (going vegan) likely had a lot to do with it whether he himself could pinpoint the problem or not.
Jon Stewart is similar in the sense that he went vegan, and after that found the job too stressful and just wasn’t as good a host anymore.
Had he not gone pro animal lives, he might have stayed for much longer.
Have You Tried Vegan?

I’d love to hear from you, too.
Have you tried vegan for some time?
Is there anything to the stereotype of vegans being less masculine and attractive, or not?
How do you view vegans?
Please leave your feedback in the comment, but remember, that according to me, the healthiest diet is definitely not completely vegan!
